Nature calls

One of the great joys in my life, in addition to being married to my beautiful wife Darla for over 36 years, and having 2 great sons, 2 wonderful daughters-in-law, and 3 grandchildren, is nature. I love hiking, bird watching, visiting Scenic Wetlands sites, parks and preserves, and historical sites. There is nothing like the solitude and relaxation of visiting one of these sites and communing with nature. If you are quiet when you walk through (preferably at a leisurely pace, not speed walking like I’ve seen so many do), you can catch nature at its finest, seeing all sorts of Gods creatures. I’ve taken many photos and videos of exotic birds, reptiles, and animals in my time during the early morning hours. I’ll share some of these below for your enjoyment. If you are feeling stressed or overwhelmed, take some time today to visit a nearby park or preserve, clear your mind of all the clutter, and just spend some quiet time. You won’t regret it.
